Vincent Valentine Cerberus Gun by 6-fingers Vincent Valentine Cerberus Gun by 6-fingers
One of the three major pieces of my Vincent Valentine Costume. It was painstakingly built after finding as many reference pictures as i could. The gun is life-size, and massive for that fact, measuring a full 19 inches. Despite this the prop remains lightweight, due to its construction consisting of a four-to-six-layer thick cardboard frame, coated in a sculpt of air-drying clays. The butt of the gun has a ring built in for the attachment of a 'Cerberus Pendant'

Anyone interested in a gun like this should go here [link] where myself and my colleagues are creating plastic cast versions of the cerberus

Is there any way one might get a walkthrough as to how to make one of these? My friends really want me to go to Anime Boston next year as Vincent Valentine and I could really use help in terms of making the Gun. If not that's fine too, I'll simply try to do without in that case. I thank you either way.

i'll see what i can do,the basic shape is pretty simple, but the devil's in the details. the barrels are three long thin tubes glued together at the center, i used cardboard tubing but pvc might work too, the cylinders are just fatter, shorter tubes, the centers of these and the barrels line up. you then have the handle that fits into the bottom gap of the cylinders, which was about 4 or 5 layers of cardboard glued together, and the hammers on the back that i made out of sculpey, let me know if theres anything you need me to be more specific about, btw, ive also got a brother who's casting plastic cerberus guns and selling them if your interested

In terms of Dirge of Cerberus, would this be the long barrel or normal barrel length?

Really well done there btw

I'm making Cerberus for my friend using the same materials. I was curious on how you make the barrels. I have an idea but I want to know how you did that, if it's not too much trouble. ^^ Thanks.

the barrels themselves were pretty simple, i found sturdy carboard tubes of the right size, cut them to shape with a wood saw, and glued them together in that kind of shamrock shape, so i suppose thats the trick, finding something just the right size
